Middle School Interim Reporting Package
It is almost the end of Term 3, and with that comes the end of term Interim Report package. This term the package will include details about subject selection for the Middle School together with a letter about the information nights to held after the school holidays. The envelop may also contain the Year 7 and Year 9 NAPLAN student reports. The reason I have indicated this as a possibility is due to the potential delay in receiving them from the Queensland Studies Authority in Brisbane. If they do arrive late they will be posted home immediately after the break.
Middle School Leader 2014 Candidate Speeches
Congratulations to the Year 8 students who decided to put themselves forward to represent the Middle School on Wednesday 11 September during the candidate speeches. The quality of the speeches will make the selection of next year’s leaders very difficult. Students in Year 7, 8 and 9 have also voted and the candidates will be notified of the outcome on Thursday 19 September.

It will be held in the Lecture Theatre from 6.00 pm until 7.00 pm and will go over the final details. Please remember to bring your passport with you, these will be collected by myself. You will receive your travel diary and the rugby players will get their jerseys. It is also an opportunity for us to practice our Japanese phrases. For your information, I have also spoken to the Bundaberg Regional Council Mayor, Cr Mal Forman, and he has given me a gift to present to the Mayor of Settsu City. It is important that all students attend this meeting.
